SALVAGE SALE OF 874 cartons – 8.740 kg deep frozen coated strawberry halves, offers to be sent by Tuesday 16 June 2009 at 14.00 HRS LT

Without prejudice to the rights of whom it may concern, we are authorized to solicit bids on an ''as is where is" basis on behalf of the Underwriters of Messrs. CROPS.

The merchandise in question consists of the following:

• 874 cartons containing 4 x 2.5 kg deep frozen coated strawberry halves 24 – 28 mm
Or a total of 8,740 kg

This cargo had been exposed for some period of time to an inadequate cooling inside a reefer container so that part of the contents (outsides of stow) was affected and is no longer suitable for their intended purpose, namely the pastry industry. However the cartons situated in the centre of stow appear to have not suffered from a temperature fluctuation and appear still to be IQF.

Condition of this cargo can be inspected at the premises of Messrs. CROPS, Oostrozebeeksestraat 148 at 8710 Ooigem. Contact at forehand is advisable, Mrs. Carine DECABOOTER, tel: 056 / 67 63 68.

In the event you are interested in bidding, your bid can be made by telefax (32/03/295 10 69) and should reach this office by Tuesday 16 June 2009 at 14.00 HRS LT at which time all bids will be examined. All interested parties are invited to be present at this time.




Unless otherwise stated herein, you bid should be for the full amount of the material and we reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Bids are to be submitted as a price for the total lot and in EUR and no other bids will be accepted.

In the event a successful bidder is awarded the material, he will be required to furnish a certified check, payable to the order of Messrs. DPS, or to send the corresponding transfer form for the full amount of the purchase to our bank account in exchange for which a delivery order will executed.

The foregoing merchandise has been described to the best of our knowledge and based on the information made available to us and we accept no responsibility for errors.

The goods are sold ‘as is where is’, condition, quality, etc., fully known and accepted by the buyer.

Furthermore, the afore mentioned material, being in a distressed condition, neither Messrs. CROPS, nor DP SURVEY GROUP NV (DPS), make any representations, guarantees or warranties whatsoever with respect to the merchantability or fitness of the said material for any purpose and the successful bidder must comply with all State, County and City requirements.
